Disable Annoying Advertisement Line in your Google Webmail

The default settings specify for an annoying little advertisment line to appear just above your inbox in your Google Webmail. This is how to turn it off.

  1. Go to your Google Mail Settings
  2. Go to "Web Clips" (it's between "Chat" and "Labs")
  3. Uncheck the box labelled, "Show my web clips above the Inbox".
  4. That's it. There isn't any save button for this setting. Just click back to Invox.
